hello there, i haven't done this in a while. i have been lazy. anyways, i have been gathering my thoughts on different things. first off, the dark knight rises. chris nolan is going balls to the wall with this movie. it is going to be fucking epic. and i mean epic. first off, you have bane (done right), catwoman played by anne hathaway, and the batwing! batman will certainly have met his match with bane. in the comics, bane is powered by the super-steroid venom, which is his greatest strength and weakness. it gives him super strengh, and nigh invincibility. but also it has had a negative effect on his body, essentially making his body frail. but this version of bane seems to be associated with the league of shadows, with its leader ra's al ghul, recruiting him when he was a child. and the mask he is seen to wear in the spy photos online, seems to be the source of his power, venom, in an aerosol form. second, as known in the teaser, batman hasnt been fighting crime in gotham. he's been in hiding from the manhunt commissioner gordon has been leading against him. also, another apparent vigilante in the form of anne hathaways' catwoman, has risen in batmans' absence. third, when he returns, gotham is in disarray.

Music in Sucker Punch
i loved the movie, but what made me love it was the inclusion of some great covers of songs like, Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This), sung by the lead actress, Emily Browning, Army of Me (feat.Skunk Anansie) By Bjork, White Rabbit By Emiliana Torrini, Where is My Mind, By Isreali Artist Yoav, featuring Emily Browning. The Music of this movie really had me going. especially sweet dreams, during the beginning scene. the music is usually the preceding moment before the fantasy segments kick in. i was reading about this movie recently and i read that the stunt choreographer for this movie, has worked with Zack Snyder before on 300 and watchmen. he also did the stunt choreography for the Bourne Films. the hand to hand combat was awesome, and yet again im drawn to the music. army of me plays during the first fantasy segment, when she meets the wise man, white rabbit during the WWI Segment, search and destroy by skunk anansie during the dragon segment, and Tomorrow never Knows during the train segment. the music drew me into the movie, and i felt emotion, and i feared for the girls lives, and it ended alright. it wasn't the best ending, but i think it could've gone better. Nontheless, it was a very good movie, definitely eye candy for the mind, and i think that this deserves a sequel (a comic book series perhaps.)

Saw Sucker Punch
saw sucker punch today. it was spectacular. the acting was alright, but the visuals and the action scenes were awesome. most critics didn't really understand how it worked. i was due to the "inception" outline i used for the movie. there was reality, (the institution), then the dream (brothel), then the dream within a dream, (the action scenes). also, the ending was a little hard to comprehend, but once i started to think about it, i got it. the choice of music was great, and i thought it was, overall, very good. anyhoo, i give it 9.5 out of 10.
Sucker Punch
the movie sucker punch has been popular with the critics, but hey, when i see a movie, i leave my brain at the door, and claim it when i leave. i don't judge a book by its cover, but this one seems like a sucker punch to the huevos, but hey, at least you get sucker punched by a hot girl with a katana. i'm pretty sure people said the same thing about 300, and watchmen, but hey, at least he's not uwe boll!
